Willie Campbell

Hebridean singer-songwriter Willie Campbell fronted Astrid and has played with The Reindeer Section and The Open Day Rotation. His solo work carries the imagery-laden storytelling his fanbase knows him for, with a bright, high-tempo indie-pop charge.

For his latest single Leaving Lewis, out on 11 September, he joined forces with Matt Bishop, the Grammy-nominated engineer behind Taylor Swift's Red, with former Astrid bandmate James Clifford on bass.
